Nellie Mattice

Nellie Mattice, 98, of Sugar Grove, IL passed away on November 29, 2021. She was born on April 23, 1923 in Nevada, Iowa the daughter of George and Lillie (Esra) Unwin.

Nellie was a devout Christian who devoted her life to her church in so many capacities. She was a longtime member of First Assembly Church.

She is survived by her children, Charles (Dawn) Mattice, Lillian (Randy) Killian, and David Mattice, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and sister Bessie Hennen.

She is preceded in death by her husband. Richard Mattice and siblings, Gladys Wilke and Robert Unwin.

Family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Harvest Bible Church, 101 S. Barnes Rd. Aurora, IL 60506.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wayside Cross Ministries, Harvest Bible Missionary Work or to Highpoint Church Missionaries.
