Olivio "Lee" A. Aschettino

It is with great sadness that the family of Olivio "Lee" Aschettino announces his passing on Thursday, July 11, 2017.  Olivio, 88, of Far Rockaway, NY and a veteran of the Korean War, will forever be remembered by his loving sister Romilda, his niece Jamie (Michael), his great-niece Jessica (Joshua) and great-great nephew Gabriel, and his two great-nephews, Michael and Eric.  Olivio was predeceased by his parents and his sister Marie.

Olivio was a former business owner and restaurateur in Long Beach, NY, a former Long Beach City Councilmen and City Council President, a member of the American Legion, Lions Club and Dante League.

Visitation and a prayer service will be held Friday, July 14, 4:00PM, at Dieterle Memorial Home, Montgomery, IL.  A graveside memorial service and inurnment will be held at 10:00AM, on Friday, August 4th, at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY. Memorial donations in memory of Olivio may be made to the Dementia Society of America (dementiasociety.org).
