Petronila Silva

Petronila Silva, 87, of Aurora, IL., went home to her loving Father, May 9th, 2020, with her family by her side. Ma was a devoted mother to her seven children and 21 grandchildren. To her family and those who knew her, she was a woman of noble character who is worth far more than precious rubies.She is survived by her children; Salvador (Emma) Baltierra, Maria DeJesus Baltierra, Martha (Jose) Vasquez, Antonio (Rita) Silva, Patricia (Rafael) Vega, Florencia Silva, Esther (Michael) Saltijeral; Grandchildren; Salvador, Emily, Maria, Judith (Baltierra), Michael, Lupe, Jaime, Carlos (Soto), Carmen, Jose, Veronica, Tony, Lupe (Vasquez), Alicia, Anna (Silva), Ricky (Gonzalez), Jonathan, Michael (Vega), Jonathan, Jessica, and Amanda (Saltijeral); numerous great-grandchildren; and her beloved puppy Coco.She will be greatly missed. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private Mass in her honor will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish of Aurora. She will be laid to rest at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Wheaton, IL. Due to pandemic restrictions, private services will be held with a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date. Floral expressions my be sent to the funeral home, and will be given to the family.
