Phyllis Mills

Phyllis I. Mills, 76, of Yorkville passed away surrounded by her family on December 2, 2018. She was born on September 7, 1942 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Stanley and Florence (Campbell) King. She was an amazing mother and will always be remembered for her friendly and outgoing personality.

She was also a longtime bookkeeper at Meadow Gold Dairy with her first husband Gary. She and her 2nd husband Ken owned and operated Action Mower Service for many years. She enjoyed reading, fishing, playing the piano and loved bowling. She was a devout Christian and loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her children; Cindy (Kevin) Trim, Julie (Mark) Metzger, Gary Clayton (Melanie) Petrasek and Beth (Mark) Prickett; grandchildren, Hannah and Olivia Trim, Michelle (Brian) Gomez, Christy Fabricino, Matthew (Lauren) Metzger, Alex (Sarah) Metzger, Clayton and Cece Petrasek, Ashley (Collin)Gillette and Mitch and Tyler Prickett. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, sister, Cindy (King) and former husband Gary Petrasek. She is preceded in death by her mother            and parents Stan and Annie King, daughter, Lisa Petrasek and husband Ken Mills.

Family will be receiving guests on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
