Phyllis Rose Tannenbaum passed away peacefully on September 6, 2021. Phyllis was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, and best friend. She raised 5 children and lovingly cared for her sister MaryLee. Phyllis was a beautician for over 30 years. She was well known for her own flawless hair and style, whether she was going to the store or BINGO night, she never left the house without her hair perfect, lipstick in her purse, TicTacs, and perfume. Phyllis’ devotion and sacrifices for her family throughout her life are an example of the kind and loving person she was. She loved her family above all else and she will never be forgotten.
Phyllis is survived by her children Frederick (Kim) Sugg (Fishers, IN), Tamara Sugg (Oswego), Connie (Dale) Collman (Montgomery), Laurie Sugg (Montgomery), Randy (Noelia) Sugg (Aurora). As well as her brother William (Bill) Jacobs (Aurora), and sister Anita Brown (Sandwich). She has 12 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and one great grandchild on the way!
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Robert Tannenbaum, parents Clarence & Leona Jacobs (nee:Becker), sisters Dolores Gilley, MaryLee Jacobs, and her brother Paul Jacobs.
A wake will be held at Dieterle Memorial Home on Thursday September 16, 2021 from 4-7 PM. 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL. 60538
Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Friday September 17, 2021 at 10 AM 620 Fifth Street, Aurora, IL. 60505
