Rafael Cervantes

Rafael Cervantes, 54, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in a traffic accident in the state of Wyoming. Rafael was born March 14, 1968 in Ricon Grande, Tlayata, Mexico to parents Macario Cervantes and Maria Nieves Pérez. He was the youngest of 5 brothers, Javier, Gilberto, Jose and Macario. He also had 5 sisters, Guillermina, Roselina, Elida, Elizabeth y Maria Perla. He is survived by his mother, his wife Nancy Manso Vides, his Children, Rafael, Brenda, Briana, Omar, and Greco, his step-children Devin, Brian, Michelle Vides married to Andres Blandon and his grandchildren Giselle Blandon and Giovanni Blandon. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed. 

Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at North Aurora Seventh-Day Adventist Church 950 Mooseheart Rd. North Aurora, IL 60542. Funeral service will be on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the church followed by burial at River Hills Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
