Ralph S. Landorf, 80, of Hinckley formerly of Aurora passed away on May 13, 2019. He was born on November 25, 1938 in Aurora, IL the son of Ralph and Ethel Landorf. Ralph proudly served his country with the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of the Tiger Club, Turners Club and Amvets where he was an Amvets Club Master. Ralph was a scout master for Oak Park School Troop 8 and he was awarded the Charles Pierce Burton Award. He was past president of the Dad’s Club and East Aurora Boosters. After 30 years of dedicated service he retired from Caterpillar and during his retirement he delivered for Kankes Landscaping. He was also a member of the Petenwell Castle Rock Property Owners Association. Ralph was a devoted Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan. He will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Holm) of 60 years; children, Kimberlee Landorf, Steven (Kelly) Landorf, Scott Landorf and Kathleene (the late Tony) Jones; grandchildren, Mishelle O’Regan, Rachel Jones and Matthew Landorf; sister, Ruth (Allan) Willman; sisters-in-law Lori (Bruce) Joens and Deanna Holm as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will be private.
