Ramon Prado

Ramon Prado, 87, of Aurora passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 5, 2018. He was born on March 4, 1931 in Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mexico the son of Margarito and Zenaida (Velasco) Prado. Ramon retired from Allsteel after 25 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed walking and liked to stay active. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora, he was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maria; children, Fernando Prado, Eduardo (Yvonne) Prado, Gloria (Jorge) Aguirre and Claudia Prado; grandchildren, Emilio, Alyssa, Giovanni, Zuri, Alan, Anais and Andre. He is also survived by many dear relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Xavier Prado and sister, Carmen Gomez.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church 620 5th Street, Aurora, IL. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
