Raymond Alderman

Raymond E. Alderman Sr., 95, of Montgomery, IL passed away at his home June 28, 2018.  He was born April 10, 1923, in Oswego, IL.  He proudly served in the United States Navy in World War II on the USS Thornhill (DE-195) which served in the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean.  He was an OTR Truck Driver, retiring in 1984.  Survivors include a granddaughter, Michelle (Rob) Quirin, one great granddaughter, Ashley Quirin; one Daughter-in-law, Sue Alderman; two step granddaughters, Paula (Jim) Thorpe, and Leah Wicker; one sister, Marjorie Newburn; one brother, Bob Alderman and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruby Alderman; his wife, Mary Alderman and one son, Raymond Alderman Jr. Services will be held at a later date at the Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.  Arrangements were entrusted to Dieterle Memorial Home.  630-897-1196
