Richard L. Anderson

Richard L. Anderson, 71, of Sandwich, formerly of Aurora, passed away on March 3, 2018. He was born on March 17, 1946 in Aurora, IL the son of Donald and Helen (Lee) Anderson. He retired from At&T after many years of dedicated service, he then went on to work at CTS in Sandwich and was currently employed with Aurora Bearing Company. He had a passion for fishing and gardening. He raced homing pigeons and loved attending the Sandwich Fair. He is survived by his wife Holly (Regelbrugge) of 32 years, daughter Ashley Anderson; aunts, Lorraine “Raney” Halterman and Marilyn Lee and cousins Denny (Jeanie) Lee and Donna Lee. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Anderson and mother and step-father Helen and Paul Moreno.

Family will be receiving guests on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial Home. Inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
