Robert J. Leffel Jr.

Robert J. Leffel Jr., 63, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on Sunday January 8, 2023 at DuPage Care Center in Wheaton, IL. He was born August 5, 1959 in Belleville, IL, son of Robert Leffel Sr. and Judy (Voyles) McVey. Bob was employed in the direct mailing business for over 40 years. He enjoyed brewing beer and making wine at home, watching all of the Chicago sports teams, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Bob is survived by his mother Judy (Doug) McVey, his stepmother Coranell “Corky” Leffel, 2 sons, Robert “Jim” III (Sarah), Matthew, a daughter Kaylee (Duncan), his 2 ex- wives; Kris Scelfo and Karen James, 2 grandchildren; Jamisyn and Robert “JJ” IV, 2 sisters; Sherry (Paul) Loschi, Nadine (Dan) Thomas, and 2 brothers; Keith (Heather) McVey and Tim (Ronda) Leffel and many other relatives. Bob is preceded in death by his father Robert Sr., and a son, Richard. A  celebration of Bob’s life will be March 18, 2023 at 11am at Church of the Good Shepard, 5 W. Washington Street in Oswego.. In lieu of flowers donations to DuPage Care Center 400 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL are appreciated.
