Robert John Olesen Jr., 75 of Montgomery, passed away May 28, 2022 at the Symphony of Tillers in Oswego. He was born in Elgin, IL March 4, 1947; son of Robert and Eleanor (Meuser) Olesen Sr. Robert proudly served in The United States Army in the early 1960’s and was stationed in Germany. He was employed as a superintendent of a road construction company for many years. Robert was a 40 year member and former director of Mid-West Tool Collectors Association and a long time member of The Early American Industries Association. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Laura; 2 daughters, Ellyn (Don) Heinz, Carolyn (Mike) Flinn, and a son Daniel (Island). 6 grandchildren; Melissia (Doug) McClelland, Nicholas (Abby) Heinz, Brendan (Kristina) Flinn, Alexandra (Jon) Baley, Megan (Ben) Ness and Daren Wood. 5 great grandchildren; Caleb, Evelyn, Audrey, Declan, Tobias, a new great grandchild due in July and a Brother Mike (Debra).
