Roger L. Krantz

Roger L. Krantz, 62, of Streator, IL formerly of Montgomery, IL passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2018. He was born on March 23, 1956 in Aurora, IL the son of Arthur and Phyllis Krantz. Roger worked for All Steel, Lyon Metal, and most recently worked at Caterpillar. He enjoyed traveling, car shows, watching football and loved to tinker in his garage. Above all his family will remember him for his sense of humor and his jokester personality. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his children; Lynnea (Kevin) Koehler and Gregory Krantz; grandchildren, Jenevieve Wolf and Jacob Krantz; fiancé Dar Happold; siblings, Susan Forbes, Tom (Diana) Krantz, Jeanne Krantz,  Joe (Carol) Krantz and Mark (Tina) Krantz; sisters-in-law, Rose, Lynne, and Elba Krantz as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David, Artie and Jerry Krantz.

Family will be receiving guests on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538.  Interment will be private.
