Ronald C. Graeff

Ronald C. Graeff, 86, of Montgomery, IL passed away on December 31, 2020. He was born on May 16, 1934 in Aurora, IL the son of Clinton and Mary (Zelinka) Graeff. He graduated from East Aurora High School in 1952 and went on to proudly serve his country with the U.S. Army. He married Jane Deisher on May 15, 1954 and they spent the next 66 years together. He was a dedicated member of St. John Church in Aurora.  Ron was a gifted woodworker and enjoyed making birdhouses and birdfeeders. He and Jane went to many craft shows through the years. He retired from Northern Illinois Gas Company after 33 years of dedicated service. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and zest for life. He was a dedicated husband and father and the best grandpa you could ask for.

He is survived by his wife Jane; children, Ronald (Mary) Graeff and Renee Pope; grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Sutton, Sarah (Ben) Andermann, Joshua (Heidi) Sutton, Jeremy Sutton and Anna, Arun and Anu Graeff; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Nikki, Jordyn and Chase and great-great granddaughter, Lorelai. He is also survived by siblings, Carol Gesk and Greg Graeff, many nieces and nephews and several Godchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. RabbitRabbitRabbit
