Rose Murley

Rose Murley, 89, born Edcouch, TX lived in Montgomery, IL entered this world on February 28, 1934, and on, May 13, 2023, she took her last Earthly breath and entered the gates of Heaven. Rose’s family especially her son James Murley were the center of her world which she will be sorely missed.  She enjoyed her time working at Montgomery Works (Western Electric) as a manager, gardening around her home, and being with family and friends in life.

She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved son, James Murley, her parents, Miguel, and Eloisa (Benavides) Lomas, three brothers, Roberto, Ricardo and Rogelio Lomas, and sister Sylvia Lomas. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her sister, Yolanda (Amador) Alba and her brother Art (Linda) Lomas and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave, Montgomery, IL 60538. A funeral service will take place the following day on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM also at Dieterle Memorial Home. Interment to follow at Lincoln Memorial Park.
