Sally West

Sally West, 86, of Oswego, passed away Thursday October 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Aurora, IL January 22, 1935; daughter of Goddard and Myrtle (Kaus) Wagner. Sally enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending all of the school events and beaming with pride. Sally loved fishing with her late husband of 45 years, James. She also liked to cook; especially the best burgers in town but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Sally is survived by 3 sons; Joe (Lori), James (Maureen), John (Maria), a daughter Sherry (Ronnie) Lewis. 27 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild and 2 brothers; Albert (the late Gail) and Eugene (Pat). Sally is preceded death by her parents, her husband James, a grandson, Joshua, 3 sisters; Arlene (the late Harvey), Ness, Betty (the late Houston) Alexander, Josephine Murphy and 1 brother; Ted (Dorothy). Family will be receiving guests Monday November 1, 2021 from 3pm to 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Funeral services will be Tuesday November 2, 2021, at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Aurora.
