Salvador Herrera

Salvador M. Herrera, 86, from Aurora, IL, was called to come home and be with the lord on Sunday, May 17th, 2020. He was always surrounded by his loved ones. 

He was born on November 9th, 1933 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the Son of Alfonso and Maria de Jesus (Martinez) Herrera.  He is preceded in death by his parents and Loved Wife Maria C Herrera (His Viejita).  Salvador is honored by his four children and partner: Francisco and Alejandra, Leticia and Hector, Oscar and Joanne, Norma and Alvaro. He is also remembered by his 7 grandchildren: Ricardo (Sonia), Omar & Andrea Herrera, Andrea (Nick) Hoecker, Daniel Maldonado, Jonathan Alfonso-Medina, and Gabriela Millan, additionally by his Great-Granddaughter, Nadia Hoecker. He is survived by his siblings: Clementine, Francisca, and Hector Herrera. He will be dearly missed by his extended family.  Due to the current pandemic restrictions, the family will have private services with a celebration of life scheduled at a later date.
