Sandra Lynn Warren

It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend on Sunday, July 31, 2022.

Sandra Lynn Warren was born on April 16, 1965. Sandy was the daughter of the late Leroy and Dolores Grimes. She attended Batavia Senior High School where she met her lifelong friend, Bird on the first day of kindergarten. 

Sandy was blessed with three children: Jeremiah, Ashley, and Kyle. On January 22 1999, she married Mark Warren. Together they welcomed another child, Cody, to complete their family. 

Sandy had many passions in her lifetime. If Sandy wasn’t traveling the world with her best friend and adopted daughter Meghan Callahan, you could find her at home with her beloved dogs. 

Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Mark, her children: Ashley Patterson (Michael Hasko-Gray) of Mendota, IL; Kyle Patterson (Blayre Reimann) of Earlville, IL; and Cody Warren (Faith Schultz) of Sandwich, IL; and her siblings: Rick (Tammy) Grimes of Sheridan, IL; Steve (Jeanna) Grimes of Unionville, MO; Pamela (Nicholas) Walsh of Morris, IL; Jeff Grimes of Seattle, WA; and Michelle (Jeff) Ward of Rochelle, IL. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jeremiah Patterson.

Sandy is already greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday August 4, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. A time of remembrance will begin at 10:30 on Friday, August 5th at the memorial home. A graveside service will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora.
