Steven J. Paku, 79, of Aurora, passed away Monday April 2, 2018 at the Silverado Memory Care of Naperville. Steve was born May 7, 1938, in Aurora, IL, son of Julius and Mary (Albert) Paku. He worked as a Pattern maker in the garment business for over 51 years; 38 years at R&M Kaufman and 13 years at Cintas. He enjoyed The Chicago White Sox, reading mysteries, loved all his dogs, but most of all he had a passion for bowling. Steve is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet, his son John (Nancy), 2 brothers, Alex and Bill (Pat), 1 sister Maryanne Paku and a son-in- law Mark Olin. 5 grandchildren, Jenifer, Steven, Michael, Elizabeth, and Matt. 4 great grandchildren, Anna, Ryan, Jack, and Payton, and his 2 dogs, Gepetto, and Daisy Mae. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, Susan, 1 brother, Eugene and 2 dogs, Sissy and Boye. Family will be receiving guests Sunday April 8, 2018 from 3:00 pm until time of service at 7:00pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Burial with be private.
