Theresa Marie Beach

Therese Marie Beach, 73, of Aurora, IL passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Elmwood Terrace in Aurora, IL.  

Therese was committed to saving lives as a fire-fighter, EMT and a nurse.  She loved traveling to Florida and spending time at the beach. She enjoyed her opportunity to skydive in her 60’s and playing with her dog, Pippa.  She loved spending time with family and spoiling her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Schanen, her sister, Donna Serna and her brother-in-law, Robert Smithburg.

Therese is survived by her children: Charles (ImeIda) Beach, Cynthia Beach, and Kevin (Robyn) Beach; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Emma) Soto, Heather (Brian) Torres, Jomel Demaala, Jacob Hill and Chuckie Beach; her great grandchildren: Adriel, Elian, Payton and Oaklyn; her sister, Dianne Smithburg and brother-in-law, Carlos Serna. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Elmwood Nursing Pavilion and Light House Hospice for their amazing treatment and care of Therese.

In her own words and from her favorite movie, Therese was “Practically perfect in every way”.  She was loved by all that knew her and will be missed immensely.
