Tribute

Thomas P. Keefe, 54, of Aurora, IL passed away on May 15, 2021. He was born on April 13, 1967 in Auburn, NY to Michael and Nancy (Dellonte) Keefe. He lived in North Carolina and Georgia before settling in Illinois in 1990. Tom joined the US Army out of high school and proudly served as a specialist attached to the Signal Company of the 7th Special Forces Group in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. While serving in Honduras, he was involved with secure Communications between troops on the ground and Forces Command, also known as FORSCOM. Tom was a residential electrician in the Fox Valley area for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially took joy in fishing and hunting.  He also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles during his down time. Most of all, Tom loved to spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Colleen nee Bradley, children; Zack, Kelsey and Christina Keefe; parents, Michael and Nancy Keefe; siblings, Michael (Tara) Keefe, Jr., Brian (Kim) Keefe, Elisa Keefe Cadwell, Matthew (Jennifer) Keefe, Christopher (Stacey) Keefe; father-in-law, Larry Bradley, brother-in-law Douglas (Deborah) Bradley and sister-in-law Patty (Tom) Pierce as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Joan Bradley.

Tom will never truly be gone and never be forgotten, for he lives on in the lives of his wife, children, family and friends. His love is cherished from here into eternity. May he Rest In Peace. 

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola, Aurora, IL. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation at www.garysinisefoundation.org
