Tim H. Wood

Tim H. Wood, 65, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at his home. He was born July 16, 1956 in Aurora, IL to William and Joyce (Henricks) Wood. He was a 1975 graduate of West Aurora High School.

Tim married Debbie Trlak on February 8, 1986 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, where they met. He spent his life as a Drywaller until 2005 when he became disabled. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and coaching all his daughters in softball. Most of all, he loved being a papa to his grandchildren.

Tim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debbie Wood; 2 daughters, Jolene (John) DeGeeter and Julie Wood; 5 grandchildren, Julian and Jayce Wood, Collin Kostman, Maci and Bryson DeGeeter; brother, Randy (Barb) Wood; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Joyce Wood.

Family will be receiving guests on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave, Montgomery, IL 60538. A funeral service will take place the following day on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 5 W Washington St, Oswego, IL 60543. Interment at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, IL.
