William Hatten, 91, passed away Monday October 8, 2018. He was born February 12, 1927 in Jackson, Ohio, son of William P. and Mary (Warren) Hatten. He graduated from Mooseheart as a 4 star athlete participating in football, baseball, basketball, and track; and where he met the love of his life Emogene on January 14, 1942. He proudly served in the United States Army obtaining the rank of supply Sergeant in the quartermasters division in Italy. He was employed as a supervisor for several manufacturing companies totaling 42 years of service. He enjoyed golf and camping. Bill and Emogene were lifelong members of the former Park Place Church. He is survived by 2 daughters, Dianne (Charles) MacDonald, Vicki (Victor) Cosma and 1 son, Michael (Nancy). 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 67 years;  Emogene, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Family will be receiving guests Wednesday October 10, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S.
