William "Bill" E. May

William E. May, 85, of Aurora, IL passed away on December 4, 2019 surrounded by his family.He was born on March 9, 1934 in Ponotoc, MS the son of James and Pauline May. Bill owned and operated Bill's Repair Service for many years. He enjoyed traveling and loved time spent with family and friends. 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol; children Vicki (Gary) Schmidt, Brenda (Klaus) Kruger, Michael (Kelly) May, Terri (Jerry) Thielman, Jeannie (Gary) Andrews, Tami (Bruce) Hansen and Karen (Tim) Zeier. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Cecil May, Dudley May, Laverne Williams, Dorothy Reeves and a brother Brooks in infancy. 

Family will be receiving guests on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
