Willie Cox

Willie M. Cox, 83, of Batavia, IL passed away March 12, 2021. He was born November 14, 1937, the son of O.T Ashley and Alzie Cox. Willie was owner of an insect control company, Bayside Vector Control INC. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but the business was his life. Willie is survived by his  former wife Doris; 3 sons, Allyn (Kim) Cox, Steve (Donna) Brockman, Jeffery (Londa) Herring, 3 daughters; Allison Cox-Gatlin, Lanita Cox, and Dawn Cox, 27 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his significant other, Roberta "Bobbie" Petersdorf and brother Rufus Cox. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Ann, daughter Tina Brockman, 8 sisters, 3 brothers, and 1 grandchild, Malcom. Family will be receiving guests Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 10am until time of service at Noon at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery. We ask that you practice social distancing, wear a make as you enter the funeral home.
