So sorry to hear about your dad's passing, as well as your mom's just days earlier. We have 3 boys, now grown, and we were frequent customers of your dad's for regular haircuts for years. We always enjoyed talking to Charlie the Barber; he was always professional, but so friendly and fun to talk to. He was very obviously proud of his family, especially his grandchildren, and he shared many stories with us, fishing being a big topic that I know he enjoyed!
My dad, also a WWII veteran, also went to Charlie for his haircuts, as did two of my nephews. When my dad would notice that one of his grandsons had a fresh haircut, he asked if they had been to see Charlie the Barber, and of course they had. Many good memories there!
