Dearest Sherry and family,

Your hearts and minds are surely filled with so many emotions and memories. Hold onto all of them and let them bring you comfort. My mind races with glimpses of being at your home, how tall your Dad seemed to me, and him taking us to Phillip’s Park and downtown. So long ago. The loss of our parents, no matter our age, leaves an empty spot in us, especially when our days were full of looking after them. Your Dad has earned his rest. He’s surrounded by and in the arm of the Lord, and all of his lost loved ones who went on before him. You and your family showered him in love and caring for all of his days. I hope you find comfort from that, and peace in the days ahead as you adjust to new schedules and taking time for being good to yourselves. Peace and love to all. Happy Trails, Mr. George.

Dear Denis, Duane, Sherry and brother Art, I send my love and prayers to comfort you in the loss of Pa George. George and I have been friends for so many years and I will miss him. I am so glad that I got to visit with him one last time as I had promised him I would. He smiled, talked and ate while I was there and I was able to say good bye. May the angels surround you as they take you to your mansion that our Lord has promised. Rest in peace and Sherry and Dennis you both were such faithful children and your Dad always told me how proud he was to be your Father. Your memories will keep and give you comfort in the coming months as you adjust your life missing your daily visits with him, but now he is just a thought away. Rest in peace Dear sweet George.
