Just became aware of Joe's passing. We were roommates at our first apartment off campus at Ohio State, He was my best man. Once when he was a reporter for the "Journal" we were running about town when we came upon a car that had run a person down.. We rolled the car off the victim and Joe was able to summon help in short order. We lost contact over the years, but I never forgot him. Rest in Peace my friend.
