Arthur Krantz Jr.

Arthur Krantz Jr., 71, of North Aurora, passed away July 2, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL.  Art was born February 7, 1946, in Baytown, Texas, son of Arthur Sr. and Phyllis (Hickey) Krantz.  He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1969 with a Bachelor degree in accounting. Art was a CPA for over 40 years, and worked for many companies, retiring from C & G Holdings in 2007. His hobby was cooking. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lynne nee’ Ritenour, 1 daughter, Karen Krantz and 1 son Michael (Laura). 2 sisters, Susan Forbes and Jeanne Krantz. 6 brothers, Tom (Diana), Roger (Fiance’ Dar), Jerry (Elba), Joe (Carol), and Mark (Tina). 2 grandchildren,  Joey and Taylor. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  Art is preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother, David (Rose). Family will be receiving guests Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 3 to 7 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL. Funeral Services Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10:00 am at Dieterle Memorial Home.  Interment – Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association appreciated.
